Each fall, we ask all members of our community to make a tax-deductible gift to the Eagle Rock Elementary PTA’s Annual Fund. Gifts to the Annual Fund support the people and programs that make our neighborhood school distinctive and help pay for crucial items that impact all students.
Your gift to the Annual Fund at the outset of the school year helps Eagle Rock provide enrichment opportunities and learning tools to every student on campus. The PTA to provide funds for:
- California Dance Institute (CDI)
- EnrichLA Garden Ranger Program
- Playground and yard beautification
- Music and Drama enrichment programs
- Supplemental academic materials
- Yearbooks
- Events like the Family Dance, Multicultural Night, Read-a-Thon and more…
- Field trips, after school enrichment clubs such as robotics, yoga, chess and Lego club
Because we honor and value the diversity in our families, we’re asking everyone to donate on a sliding scale based on income levels. For those who want a suggestion, below you will find a sample of giving levels other schools are using, which we’ve adapted. Important to note, the amounts shown below reflect a family's gifts for the entire year, not only for the Annual Fund Drive. We realize this guideline may not fit everyone's situation, so please choose whatever amount is right for your family and budget.
Annual Donation Guidance (based on family income)
- Less than $50k per year = $120 annually or $10/month
- $50k - $100k per year = $420 annually or $35/month
- $100k - $150k per year = $900 annually or $75/month
- $150k - $200k per year = $1500 annually or $125/month
- Over $200k = $2700 annually or $225/month
